Frame:
Aditionally the perimetral frame is assembled with finger jointed wood covered with paint of the same color as the panel, two of the main properties of the paint are the following:

-this paint does not permit moisture penetration
- is certified against molds

Core:
Rigid POLYURETHANE foam of 32 Kg/m3 which with we can obtain an excellent hardness, also this component is certificated to comply with Federal Fire Rating Regulations. The foam core also offers U Factor Values of .14.

Lock Block:
The door is prepared with blocks of wood where you can bore the holes for the locks within industry standard dimensions.

Exterior Panel:
Structural panel of S MC 10-18 % also with an agent that permits delay of flame.

Bottom rail :
The bottom rail is of synthetic wood which prevents moisture leakage inside of the wood frame; this component comes with an anti flame agent as well.

The bottom rail on our doors accepts the majority of door sweeps found in the industry today.

Decorative panels should
receive a sealer coat to
promote even stain
absorption. Manually applied
gel type stains or spray type applications are acceptable.

SMC (SHEET MOLDING COMPOUND)
Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) is a fiberglass reinforced thermosetting compound in sheet form. SMC can be molded into complex shapes with little scrap. It is suitable for production runs in excess of 200,000 parts per year.

Processing of SMC by compression molding enables the production of our door skins to be competitive, efficient and ensures a quality skin every cycle. The process also penetrates sectors such as sanitary ware (baths) and urban furniture (houses stadiums and cinema seating), etc.

The advantages in the properties of this material, is that the material is dimensionally and structurally stable. This means that under nearly every imaginable environmental and physical condition, the door slabs keep their shape and functionality. This composite material is not affected by corrosion or moisture absorption like metals and wood.

The compatibility with other types of materials such as steel or wood is totally satisfactory.

The material can be finished with paint or stain commonly found at local hardware stores and finish can by applied manually or via spray.

WOOD
The wood used complies with norms of sanity established for the SEMARNAP. The door slabs are manufactured with clear Finger Jointed Wood which allows for better dimensional stability in the frame

SYNTHETIC WOOD
The main feature of this synthetic wood is the capacity to not absorb moisture; added benefit is that the rail has an appearance very similar to natural wood. If we talk structurally, this material has excellent behavior under many different load cases.
